I was never a big fan of Christmas tunes until I started singing them. This was courtesy of the DC area (when I used to live there) where I was getting plenty of calls to be a crooner. So that's when I began pay attention to my jazz side.

This project features a couple of guests. On two tracks Quinn Lawrence accompanies me on piano. Ralph Diekemper sent me a few of his arrangements to play with. I hope I have time to finish them. If not they'll be on next years recording.

Miche

Born and raised in West Philly, Miche would sneak down to the basement to practice on his brother's drum kit while his brother was out playing ball and being a regular kid. After he was discovered and kicked off of the drums, he picked up the guitar that has brother had abandoned the year before. This time he holed up in his room teaching himself to play. He didn't get everything right - as a lefty, he flipped the guitar over and tuned it straight up the neck. From the very beginning, he had his own sound.
