Maxwell Phelps started his recording career at the age of twelve as an intern under the tutelage of Robert Blackburn at Blackdog Recording Studios. A native to Rochester, Max intends to bring the sound and swagger of his city to the forefront of the music industry with hot, new production and a lyrcal cadence rivaling the best in the game. In the past seven years, Max has evolved as a viable force in the beat writing arena, using his love of music to keep him away from the streets. Marciano, who also raps, says his own songs tend to downplay the allure of street life. "Too many artists spend too much time glorifying the guns, drugs, murder, and mayhem," he says. "Most messages get lost in the mix." Max has produced songs for Tyga of Lil Wayne's Young Money imprint and also featured on and produced the new single "Everybody Loves Me" with Interscope/Zone 4 artist Rich Boy and Grandson.

Max has also produced tracks for artists such as Sincere the Great, Larry Love, and JD Riggz. He continues to hone his skills at Blackdog, constantly bending software and sounds in ways never intended.
