Born and raised in West Philly, Miche would sneak down to the basement to practice on his brother's drum kit while his brother was out playing ball and being a regular kid. After he was discovered and kicked off of the drums, he picked up the guitar that has brother had abandoned the year before. This time he holed up in his room teaching himself to play. He didn't get everything right - as a lefty, he flipped the guitar over and tuned it straight up the neck. From the very beginning, he had his own sound. His teen years were spent as a neighborhood band leader - teaching anyone who got an instrument for Christmas how to play whatever it was and tossing them into the band. Their gigs produced more great stories than great music, but it prepared him for the next chapter of his life: The traveling Hotel Band. After two years of gigging all over the country, Miche was ready to do his own thing. In the small, college town of Geneseo, NY, Miche left the touring life to settle in and make his own music.

"The Deserters: - a trio - was wildly popular in the area, and had a great run for two years. Next came "Miche and the Anglos" - a five piece band that developed a huge following around Upstate NY, recorded several projects and had some close calls with wider fame. When that group went its separate ways after nearly 8 years, Miche decided it was time to try his hand as a solo artist.

At some point in the past, Miche had seen Jose Feliciano perform on the nylon string and had fallen in love with the beauty of the instrument. The challenge was to recreate the energy and sound of a full band on a single nylon-string guitar.

Beginning with an old classical guitar outfitted with a single pick up and a tambourine at his foot, Miche began to experiment with what would become the complex, rhythmic, musical gift he brings to audiences today. As he combines his guitar skills with his rich voice and engaging original songs, Miche offers a genuine breath of fresh air to the musical scene everywhere he goes. During the past few years, Miche has toured both the U.S. and Canada and relocated to the Chesapeake Bay area. Here, he is also indulging his love for crooning as he sings jazz standards with area bands. And, while continuing to perform solo shows, Miche is hard at work on a new ensemble which will again challenge traditional boundaries of genre and style. Miche has a number of recordings to his name, the most recent: Cafe Vignettes(2007) - a collection of stories and songs from his years on the road.
