Beata started playing piano at age 7, and at age 13 decided to pursue cello studies as well. Beata's first compositions were written at age 13, but official recognition for her as a composer came three years later- in 1997, when she received an award for "Fantazja Polska" for piano and cello at the "Patri Patriae" All-Polish Composers Competition for a piece dedicated to Pope John Paul II. "Fantazja Polska" was premiered at Ars Cameralis Silesiae Superioris Festival in 1997 (Katowice, Poland) by Beata E. Golec and Miroslaw Makowski. The score of the piece is currently kept in Vatican.

Founded by a bunch of trombone players that were fed up with sitting in the back of orchestras and jazz bands, the Po’Boys Brass Band is a 7-piece power house of brass, funk and ROCK. The four-trombone front line produces a sonic explosion of sound that breaks all preconceived notions of what the trombone is capable of. Supporting the trombone powerhouse is a chops-to-spare backline of guitar, drums, and sousaphone…that’s right, a funky old sousaphone.

Born and raised in Rochester, New York, David is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music. At the age of 5 he began playing by ear on his grandfather's old beaten upright player piano. A two-time consecutive winner of DownBeat Magazine's Student Music Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Jazz Vocalist. Before moving to New York City to star in his first off-Broadway debut at Birdland Jazz Club in "Our Sinatra," he performed extensively in Rochester along with the RPO @ Eastman Theater.

Wisdom. Supposedly it comes with age. A lot of times, it does -- especially in music. But once in a blue moon a young band comes along that throws listeners for a loop and raises the question, "how can they possibly sound so experienced already?"

Maxwell Phelps started his recording career at the age of twelve as an intern under the tutelage of Robert Blackburn at Blackdog Recording Studios. A native to Rochester, Max intends to bring the sound and swagger of his city to the forefront of the music industry with hot, new production and a lyrcal cadence rivaling the best in the game. In the past seven years, Max has evolved as a viable force in the beat writing arena, using his love of music to keep him away from the streets. Marciano, who also raps, says his own songs tend to downplay the allure of street life.

Born and raised in West Philly, Miche would sneak down to the basement to practice on his brother's drum kit while his brother was out playing ball and being a regular kid. After he was discovered and kicked off of the drums, he picked up the guitar that has brother had abandoned the year before. This time he holed up in his room teaching himself to play. He didn't get everything right - as a lefty, he flipped the guitar over and tuned it straight up the neck. From the very beginning, he had his own sound.

Herbert Smith (trumpet) Herb Smith is the third trumpet with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a graduate of The Eastman School of Music and began playing in the orchestra after he graduated in 91’. He works with students through the Young Audiences of America and Rochester City School District Artist in Residence program.

Mosiah is originally from Kingston Jamaica, affectionately referred to as " The Yard." The 38 year old currently resides in Rochester New York. Mosiah's music is reminiscent of Bob Marley, Yellowman, Ladysaw, Super Cat, and Heavy D. Big up to all the reggae artists! "My brand of reggae is Rasta." "Mi a rasta so mi call it rasta reggae." "Everything rasta, so rasta music is rasta business."
